Refunds & cancellations
Last updated 9 October 2026
Credits are digital goods delivered immediately, so this policy sets out exactly when you get your money — or your credits — back. It sits alongside our terms, and nothing here limits your rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
Failed renders are refunded automatically
If a render fails — a provider error, a timeout, or a content filter refusing the result — the credits go straight back to your balance, usually within seconds. You don't need to contact us, and you'll see the refund in the activity list on your account page. If a render clearly failed and the credits haven't come back, email us and we'll put them back by hand.
Unused credits
If you've bought a pack and changed your mind, we'll refund it to your card in full, provided you ask within 14 days of the purchase and haven't spent any of those credits. Email luke.fraserbrown04@gmail.com from the address on your account and tell us roughly when you bought it.
Part-used packs are refunded pro rata for the credits still unspent, at our discretion.
Credits you've already spent
A completed render costs us real money at the AI provider the moment you run it, so spent credits generally aren't refundable just because you don't like how the result looks — AI output is unpredictable, and we say so before you start. If something is genuinely wrong — you were charged twice for one render, you got someone else's output, or the file is broken — tell us and we'll fix it.
Duplicate or unrecognised charges
We refund duplicate or accidental charges in full, no questions asked. If you don't recognise a charge from iShot on your statement, email us before raising a chargeback — we can almost always sort it out the same day.
Cancellations
There is no subscription: every purchase is a one-off credit pack, so there's nothing recurring to cancel. You can stop using iShot at any time, and ask us to delete your account and its content whenever you like.
How refunds are paid
Card refunds are made through Stripe to the original payment method, in New Zealand dollars. Stripe typically takes 5–10 business days to show the money back on your statement. We can't refund to a different card or account.
